If you are seeking a dental office that provides teeth extraction ,you don’t want to spend any more time than necessary. Whether it is the emergency removal of a severely damaged tooth, or a planned extraction to make room for orthodontics, we can help. By offering specialized procedures like tooth extraction, in addition to other routine procedures, we saves you time and money. We are your one-stop-shop for dental health.
Although every effort is made to save a tooth, it is often necessary to recommend extraction. One of the first concerns when discussing tooth extraction is usually the pain associated with the procedure while in the office. To minimize much of the pain and discomfort from this procedure we offer Sedation Dentistry for tooth extraction and other dental procedure at the request of our patients.
Before extracting your tooth, we will take X-rays to get a clear picture of your damaged tooth. This will help us see the underlying bone structure and tooth root so that we can plan the best way to remove your tooth.
After your extraction, we will give you helpful instructions for quick healing. These may include:
leaving the gauze over the extraction site for a few hours
eating soft and liquid foods for at least a day
avoiding pressure, eating, and brushing at the extraction site for a few days
avoiding tobacco and smoking
avoiding spitting and rinsing for the first day
taking pain medication per directions, if needed
